The Techiman Municipal Assembly, as part
of its share of phase three of government credit facility from the world bank under the Ghana Secondary cities support program, will among others undertake the following sub projects to improve Techiman Urban Development this year.
a. Upgrade Saanse Road and Gyaase Loop and Link at Ahenbronoso
b. Upgrade Millennium Park Roads at Tunsuase
c. Surface Nana Awerempem Street (Koo Guy Road) and link at Dwomor
d. Upgrade some Roads at new Krobo
e. Construct a multi-purpose urban park at Tunsuase
Construction of these projects may cause some social risks and impacts on the lives and properties of some people within the designated communities. Pursuant to this, The MCE led a team of Technical Officers to engage members of Techiman Traditional Council and chiefs and people of affected communities, from Monday, January 30, 2023 to Thursday, February 2, 2023 to discuss their respective projects with them and asked for their cooperation in the design and construction stages.
