TECHIMAN SOUTH MP, HON KORSAH INTERACT WITH BECE CANDIDATES and DONATE SUGAR TO SHS’s IN THE MUNICIPALITY

The 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination commenced yesterday, 17th October, 2022.

Our constituency executives joined The MCE our *MP, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah to the largest examination center at Techiman Senior High School.

Addressing the candidates, Hon. Korsah encouraged them not to be intimidated by the presence of the invigilators and the new environment in which the examination is conducted. He admonished them to be disciplined and obey all the examination rules and regulations.

He further informed them that, government has secured the progress of their education to the Senior High level through the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy and urged them to do their part by passing well in the examination.

In all *4,564* candidates are writing this year’s B.E.C.E in the Municipality comprising 2,201* males and 2,363 females from 134 basic schools.

Our MP after engaging the candidates, demonstrated his commitment to complement government’s effort in providing free feeding to every student at the Senior High level, by presenting 20 bags of sugar* to support feeding of students of Techiman High School. Similar presentations would be made in the coming days for students at other SHS in the municipality, thus, Mt. Carmel Girls S.H.S, Kwarteng Ankomah S.H.S, Kesse BasahyiaS.H.S, and Yeboah Asuama S.H.S.
