Yesterday, November 2, 2022, we disbursed

Common Fund to persons living with disabilities. This is the second disbursement in this year.

In all, 63 persons benefited out of (112) people who applied to the fund. Thirty-three(33) of the beneficiaries based on their requests, received cash to engage in trading, six(6) received cash for health care and seventeen (17) received cash for their education. The rest received items comprising seven(7) deep freezers and one fufu pounding machine to support their businesses.

The beneficiaries were full of gratitude to the government for his commitment to improving their livelihoods and indicated their assurance to put the items into their intended purposes.

Present at the meeting were, Chairman of the fund management committee, Nana Boakye Ameyaw Pentemprem, Nifahene of Techiman Traditional council, Regional Director of Social welfare department and Coordinating Director of Techiman Municipal Assembly.
