Yesterday, 20th July,2022, the Assembly received a team from the Ghana Productive Safety Net project under the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development to orient Heads of Departments of the Assembly on their programs.

The Municipal Assembly has been absorbed into the program this year which goal is to contribute to alleviating extreme poverty and boost the productivity and incomes of the poor in the municipality.

In attendance were the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko, Municipal Coordinating Director, Alhaji Inusah Hamza, the National Engineer of Ghana Productive Safety Net Project Mrs. Adwoa Boakye and the Zonal Coordinator, Albert Sefa Boampong.
