He emphasized that local authorities, including chiefs and queens, would be empowered to protect Ghana’s cultural heritage. Owusu highlighted the importance of tradition and culture in enriching various sectors such as tourism, local businesses, and environmental sustainability. He also encouraged the region to cherish the prevailing peace and urged students to strive for academic excellence. The event was marked by traditional performances and poetry recitals.
