
The Techiman Municipal Assembly, through the Revenue Supervisory Committee, held a stakeholder engagement meeting today at the Bonokyempem Hall, Techiman.

The meeting brought together members of the Revenue Supervisory Committee, Revenue Collectors, executives of transport unions, and leaders of trader associations, including market women. The engagement formed part of the Committee’s mandate to strengthen revenue mobilization and promote transparency and compliance within the Municipality.
During the meeting, participants were informed of the formation and role of the Revenue Supervisory Committee. Discussions focused on revenue collection, fee fixing, and the importance of cooperation between the Assembly and stakeholders. An open forum session allowed participants to share concerns and commend the Assembly for the engagement.
The meeting was successfully held and provided a platform for constructive dialogue aimed at improving revenue administration and service delivery in the Techiman Municipality.
