Yesterday, The MCE opened a two day Dialogue session organized by National Peace Council on preventing violent extremism, Terrorism and vigilantism for women, youth and Persons living with Disabilities at Bonokyempem, Techiman.
The program which will end on Thursday 6th October, 2022 was funded by Canada fund for local initiatives had officials from Canada high commission and Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training center to facilitate the sessions.
The MCE commended the organizers for bringing such program to Techiman because our international Market and various roads linking the Municipality bring a lot of people with diverse motives into our communities. The MCE admonished the participants to take the sessions seriously to be able to share knowledge that would be acquired with their people they were representing for our collective interest.
