Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah yesterday, January 17, 2024 presented fifty(50) double bunk beds to Kwarteng Ankomah SHS, Tanoso to improve students’ comfort and well-being.

In a short address, the Techiman Municipal Education Director who doubles as the Headmaster of the School, Mr. John Amissah thanked the MP for for his timely intervention when the request was made to him.
He mentioned some of his contributions to the school as
1. Completion of a 6-unit Classroom block
2. ⁠Donation of 150 mono desks and maker boards
3. ⁠Supplied 15 bags of sugar to feed the students and
4. ⁠Recently drilled a borehole for the school which will be mechanised.

The Assistant Headmaster of the School, Mr. Akumfi Ameyaw on his part commended the MP for his contributions to Education Development in the Municipality. He single out the MP’s Teachers Award Scheme that he has instituted in the Constituency and testified that two teachers from the School have benefited from his Award Scheme for the latest being the 3rd Best Teacher in the Municipality in the 2023 edition where he received a motorbike as a prize.
He used the opportunity to mention some of the challenges in the school and called for his intervention*

Addressing the students and Staff, the MP, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah assured them of his commitment to address some of the challenges.
He said he was so touched after his attention was drawn to the appalling conditions at their dormitories hence his decision to donate the beds to the school.
He thanked the teachers for their commitment to duty despite the numerous challenges in the school.
