The MCE, Techiman, Hon. Benjamin Yaw Gyarko today, 18th January, 2023 cuts the sod for the construction of 1NO. Two- Storey 6-unit classroom block with auxiliary facilities for the Aduana Model Basic School located at Wiawoso in Techiman.

In his address, he informed the gathering that, the Assembly and the MP, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah are aware aware of the infrastructure needs of all the schools in the Municipality and are taking steps to address them gradually.

He mentioned that within the last one year, the Assembly has completed and commissioned Six (6) Unit Classroom blocks with auxiliary facilities each in the following communities: Nsuta, Nkwaeso, Nkwanta, Kenten and Ayinabrem.

He introduced the contractor for the project to the gathering as Benewaa and Sons company and added that the contract duration for the project is six (6) months period.

He said the source of funding for the project is District Assembly Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) and that the money is sitting in the accounts of the Assembly.
