Yesterday, 7th February, 2022, The MCE joined the Bono-East Regional Minister *Hon. Kwasi Adu-Gyan to welcome the High Commissioner of India to Ghana *H.E. Mr. Sugandh Rajaram* into the Municipality.
The objective of his visit is to strengthen friendly relations between India and Ghana and also to explore the possibility of fortifying the economic, political and development cooperation with the Bono-East Region.
A durbar of Chiefs was held in his honor with *Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw iv*, President of Techiman Traditional Council sitting in as Chairman to welcome him into the region.
Present in the durbar were *Hon. Adjei- Mensah Korsah, MP Techiman South and Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Addo Donkor Everson, DCE, Techiman North, Hon. Daniel Oweridu, MCE, Nkoranza South and Hon. Peter Osei Fosu, DCE, Nkoranza North*•
In a media interaction, *Hon. Adjei- Mensah Korsah* thanked the Regional Minister, *Hon. Kwasi Adu-Gyan* for establishing a relationship with India as a new region and commended him for his vision.
