Today marked the official inauguration of the 20 Final Startups for ESCAPE Accelerator Program under the Ghana Economic Transformation Program (GETP) in partnership with National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP with support from the Ministry of Finance, Ghana and the World Bank Ghana
After a rigorous selection process 20 startups have deemed ready to undergo the 6months bespoke Startups Accelerator Program in the Bono East region.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of the Municipal Chief Executive of Techiman Municipal Assembly, Hon Benjamin Yaw Gyarko. In his keynote speech, he reiterated the readiness of the Assembly to support the ESCAPE Accelerator Program since it aligns with the local Economic Development (LED) of the Assembly. He pointed out the commitment of government in promoting entrepreneurship especially among the youth.


The Techiman MCE admonished the 20 Startups to be committed and ready to fully participate in the Accelerator program since it holds the key to helping startups to run sustainable businesses leading to enhanced employability in the Bono East region.


The occasion also co-incided with a Monitoring visit by a Team from NEIP led by Mrs Pat Mills who express their satisfaction regarding the work AgriCo Hub is doing to support startups in Bono East region through the GETP program. She urged the 20 final startups to devote time and effort to go through the Accelerator program so they can earn any opportunity that may arise in the process.
