As part of the MCE’S familiarisation visits to Educational Institutions in the Municipality, Hon.Benjamin Yaw Gyarko yesterday, April 04, 2022 visited the Mt. Carmel Girls Senior High School.
 

Addressing the staff and students, he commended them for their academic successes chalked over the years and in other co-curricula activities and encouraged them not to rest on their oars.

He assured them that the MP, Techiman South, Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah and himself are working hard to see to the completion of their dormitory block and a dining hall which is 90 percent and 70 percent complete respectively.

He donated sewing machines, industrial irons and a cutting machine to the Home Economics department to teach students who are offering Clothing and Textiles program.

This was in fulfilment of a request made by the Headmistress to the MP and the MCE during an earlier visit to the school to inspect government’s projects.
