Assembly Members of the Techiman Metropolitan Assembly have undergone a sensitization session aimed at enhancing their understanding of the Ghana Smart SDG Cities Programme and their role in its implementation.

The session was held on Friday, 20th June 2025, at the Bonokyempem Hall in Techiman, and forms part of the Assembly’s ongoing efforts to ensure inclusive participation in the Smart SDG Cities initiative. The meeting provided insights into the programme’s objectives, the strategic vision for Techiman as a pilot city, and the planned smart infrastructure upgrades.
The sensitization aimed to build consensus and mobilize Assembly Members to support the successful rollout of the programme in Techiman.
